still learning, I'm told the current issue has been head/media interface issues related to the asperities on the plastic media. The media problems (they have two primary vendors among the three partners) are being solved. Another is the read head interface to the media since they're using a "hybrid" read head and are flying higher (3 to 5 microinches) than the typical HDD. And there are a few others that will require a few inventions but they'll get there. Their schedule expectations were rather high, but then with a new technology, it's real tough to forecast breakthroughs. Regards, LT
