Achilles I stand corrected re. immigration.

Still I feel sorry for the Quebec people who see their culture threatened on many levels by forces beyond their control.

Back to the Cdn$ dollar, I see a lot of the technical indicators are forming a bullish divergence. I think we are near a bottom or at least an upward correction soon.

Achilles,
Besides fruits and vegetables, there are other goods denominated in USD. Our company imported mainly from Asian but the currency crisis there didn't make things cheaper as we guess. Why? Because most of the deal is done in USD!!!!!!! I also noticed many computer parts have a 5 to 10% price increase in past two weeks with the exception of DRAM which has a 30% increase!!!!!!! In additions, remember Automobiles???

Guess I have to buy 649 tonight, Central Bank did raised rate by 1%. The gap is now narrower but the action is a bit late. The recent 10% fall has scared away some potential investors as they have the perception that CDN$ is a volatile currency as others. I believe CDN$ is as attractive as USD at this range at least in fundamental (of course I like to see another 0.5% hike next week to rebuild the upward momentum).
