TokyoMex - liar and fraud

Message 5579834

Asensio never shorted Coca-Cola, in fact he recommended buying it....September, 1993. A link to the original buy recommendation follows:

asensio.com

Asensio runs a hedge fund. even though he is known for his short picks, he goes both long and short. This is not surprising because short-sellers are - in fact - value investors.

Tokyomex also makes misleading statements about Biovail.

Biovail was recommended "strong sell" by Asensio in September of 1996

asensio.com

The stock then sank to a 2 year low by the spring of 1997. The stock the rose sharply again and in September of 1997, Asensio opined that Biovail was overvalued, but did not issue a new sell or short sell recommendation:

This is another example of TokyoMex's false and insulting diatribes. Like many cockroach stock touts and shills, Tokyomex simply twists the truth to attempt to discredit others. TokyoMex considers himself a great stockpicker, when in fact, he has an atrocious record.

If you don't mind me asking Bill, re ALTIF, where did you get ahold of this one? I have no doubt you are right, you just seem so certain of it. How are they managing to promote such a weak-sounding play? Who is buying?
