The Farallon adaptor, or other adaptors, on the iMac will let you use LocalTalk and Ethernet, or just Ethernet?

Thanks for your help again.

iPrint and uConnect are two different products that helps iMAC to printers.

Can you compare the pros and cons of the two products?
(I know one is from the EThernet to LocalTalk, and the other one
adapt USB to a serial port)
Which solution is better? My daughter has a Apple Personal Laser Printer and an HP inkjet printer.
