I believe the double charges for outgoing calls accurately reflects the true "costs" of providing the service. That is, since Portico is offered through a centeralized NOC, two calls are assoicated with evry outgoing call; One call from the Portico subscriber to the NOC; and another call from the NOC to to called party. If another company is offerring a portico like service via a centeralized NOC, and are NOT charging for both legs of the call, then they must be hiding the charges elsewhere. This so called double-charging may be what's necessary for GMGC to offer their service through large Telcos so that the call charges can be properly identified based on true usage. Think about it - what other motives would they have? Just trying to squeeze a little more out of each customer? I kind of doubt it.

I'm currently out of GMGC except for some Feb Options at 12.5 which have lost 4/5 of their initial value. I'm hoping that GMGC drops lower so that I can buy back in. I believe that starting in Oct., GMGC will do everything it can to bring the stock price up so that the converatable shares do not dilute the outsatnding shares too much. GMGC's management not only have an obligation to their shareholders and employees, but also have a large vested interest themselves (in the form of owned stock shares, and options)

Just a gut feeling, but I believe $12 by Nov might be a reasonable target for this stock. On the flip side, if things go bad in the over all market, I wouldn't be surprised to see GMGC stock bounce off of $3 1/2 within the next few weeks. This would be great for us who are not currently long and would like to get back into GMGC.

>Phone cat. When I said rarely, I meant rarely.
>I challenge you to find a miss.

Too easy, up_tick! Any 'down_tick' search on
yahoo will locate dozens of your misses. And
some are huge whoppers. Here is one: Post #5271.
where you predicted $5 on May 26th. GMGC closed
at 11 instead. 100% miss - and you are a trader?
I hope you keep a day job. For those who want
to verify, sometimes the post numbers are 1 or 2 off,
Yahoo board does that for some reason. Just check
around that post number. Up_tick is famous on
the Yahoo board for being always negative and
usually wrong.

In another post you predicted Portico wouldn't ship
to market until end of year. Remember that? Or
the time you claimed you had a "big meeting with
gmgc", and then completely forgot about it the
next day when challenged? I could go on and on,
there are a list of your bad predictions and
false pretenses in front of
me, but I think everyone gets the point.

Not picking a fight, up_tick, just not letting you
run away from your seamy past. And letting SI know who
they are dealing with.

Apologizes to the civilized SI board. I'll go away and
slum back on Yahoo now. Speaking of which, someone over
there just accused up_tick of being both Sea Otter
and Ray Rueb. Now, THAT is funny.
