"They said by November we should be OK"

Maybe we will have a new President by November also, just in time for the market recovery. I can see it now, " Market Gains Confidence on New Leadership."

On a more serious note, this may be of interest:

AlliedSignal's hostile takeover bid for AMP, followed so closely by a Mentor Graphics run at Quickturn, has Wall Street's high-tech watchers wondering if at long last the corporate raiders are beginning to swarm. Companies like Atmel, Advanced Micro Devices, PRI Automation, Brooks Automation, Lam Research, Teradyne and Advanced Energy are all potentially attractive targets.

At these prices, consolidation makes sense for many in the industry IMO. FSII would be a candidate.

Joe

PS - Welcome back Don, and thanks again for your stats.

Kent,

I still think we're going to 10,000 DOW and I don't think that we'll see 7,000 again.

Nice strength or dear FSII today. Good sign of things to come.
