Iqbal--thank you for your comments and feed-back

As you and others have suggested, I shall look for other vehicles to take an investment position in Japan.

I appreciate your prompt feed-back.

A couple of other questions--as best as you can prognosticate, what is your sense as to what level and time period the market in Japan will bottom?? I do get the feeling that with the gloom and doom that one hears from the media and the experts about Japan, we are probably close to a bottom. Reminds me of the time when the dollar was declining against the yen and when the latter was in the 80s to the dollar, the prevailing wisdom was that the dollar was in free-fall -- and that was right at the bottom.

Also, do you like the Malaysian market?? My contact there--who is quite astute--tells me that there may be one more sharp dip, probably after the euphoria over the Asian games is done--but that it may be an opportune time to take an initial position in that market.

Any other Asian markets that you do like--which you feel may be close to a bottom??

Regards
