To the "thread,"

It is a near certainty that TFS has begun its share repurchase efforts today.

Two blocks of more than 20,000 common changed hands at roughly the $9.50 level. Moreover, they did this after 10:00 AM eastern time (corporations can not be in the market repurchasing shares before that time).

If the bids dry up after 3:30 PM (again, eastern time) it will be confirmed that the company was the buyer. (Corporations also can't buy shares back in the last half hour of trading.)

My suspicion is that TFS will actually "fill" on this order, assuming they are really in the market for the size they originally announced. All the institutions will be exiting as time passes. Part of that has already started.
