The Bottom Line, dave g, is that you Don't Go on TV and wag your finger and say you "want to be firm about it", and baldly lie to the whole of the American people, Lie two in that infamous speech was "I never asked anyone to lie about it. Not even once! Never!" LIE!! He asked all his minions (taxpayer paid or not ) to go out and spread the lie he was telling - NO SEX WITH MONICA. He told all his minions to spread lies about the character and professional competence of Mr. Starr. So far, not one of these minions have publicly expressed regret about having been lied to. Maybe, probably they weren't.
