This thread seems to be becoming almost inactive: is this an indication that it's time to buy AFFX? My impression is that this thread (like many on SI) grows much more active while the stock is high or rising, and grows quiet as stock drops or stays low. Am I being ridiculous in wondering about looking at thread inactivity as a possible "BUY" signal and thread activity as a possible "SELL"?

As an example, the thread seems quiet now, yet with a backlog of orders and a new manufacturing facility being built (as in Richard's post) AFFX looks undervalued--at the least, undervalued relative to where it was a year ago.

Am I wrong in this?
