IMO, there are other reasons the ABS did not sell well in Europe: Blud didn't push it. Why? Insufficient support personnel . The company could not spread itself that thin. The last thing they wanted were unhappy customers. I know from talking with Gallup a year or so ago ,that the company was not very interested in introducing the ABS to the whole world (Asia,eg. Mideast)...reason given: support, not to mention the marketing required ( cultural and language further complications).

As Gallup said "the ABS was never meant for foreign markets".

Also, remember , in spite of all this, 30 ABS units were placed outside the USA over the last 1 to 2 years. Ten of which are in Canada.US market is 15x size of Canadian serology market.
