Portico looks up recent news so you are not overloaded with press releases and news updates from months ago. There was, in fact, no news on General Magic since 7/30 (until this morning) so Portico was correct in telling you that there was no news.

I believe the reason that TrueSync isn't shipped on the CD-ROM is that it is, and will be, under revision as more desktop PIM's and handheld devices are supported. It takes less than 5 minutes to download from the Portico web site, so I don't think this is a big deal at all.

Also, Markman stated at the NYC shareholders mtg that conference calling would be available in Portico's next release.

With Webley being on the market for over a year, doing all their own sales, I wonder if they're as successful as Wildfire with almost 1000 customers? (to be read with sarcasm) Seriously, though, do you have any idea what their subscriber base is? GMGC's biggest strength over the little guys like Webley (besides the underlying technology, which by itself does not guarantee success) are it's international relationships with companies like BAM, Triton, MCI, BellSouth, JFax, NTT, France Telecom, etc. If Webley's management hasn't foreseen the need to partner with carriers, they're dead in the water allready (IMO).
