<<<Uh, I thought this was the vaunted REPUBLICAN CONGRESS'S Tax Reduction Act of 1997?! Lowering capital gains taxes from 28 to 20%, starting Roth IRAs, increasing the personal exemptions, increasing inheritance tax exemptions, increasing the earned income tax credit, reducing taxes on home residence sales. Ring a bell, Bob? I personally gained several thousand dollars, mostly in lower capital gains taxes last year. Why is it that you can remember who was killed in a Civil War battle, but you can't remember what happened only last year?>>>

Yes, Doughboy has done it again. Janitors, car washers and chimney sweeps all over America thank him as they shovel all that extra cash into their IRAs while reaping the windfall of their capital gains. Tax cuts the Clinton way. Nothing makes a low and middle income family feel better then raising their exemption which is taken from their gross income while grabbing it back through a higher income tax rate. Yes, a thing of beauty that is.
