Gary,
RE:"Have I told you that I 'expected' you to say something
like that when I looked at the 'red bar' on Tom's site ?"

I've been saying for months that the Mendocino would cannibalize the Pentium II. All I need was the benchmarks to confirm it. It appears Intels benchmarks are a sham, BTW. They don't want you to know the speed of the Celeron A. Another reason the cubby holed it as a "Celeron".

Now tell me Gary, what will your next Intel computer be? A Celeron A on a nice Abit BH6 motherboard with PC100 RAM running at 450Mhz or a Pentium II 450 on the same set up for $500 more and running SLOWER?

Hey, if you don't want to go to 450? Go 400 and save $350.

Which is it Gary? The Celeron A or the Pentium II? <G>

Jim
