thestreet.com article. [MCI holding off on capital spending until after WCOM merger. Very bullish for ASND long-term IMHO.]

thestreet.com

Excerpt: The safe harbor away from PCs has been networking
and telecom equipment. Make that sort of a safe
harbor. MCI (MCIC:Nasdaq) has been almost
completely absent from the capital-spending side,
holding off most purchases until after the WorldCom
(WCOM:Nasdaq) merger. To make matters worse,
WorldCom has changed its purchasing plans to force
vendors to just-in-time delivery. WorldCom will no
longer carry equipment inventory and expects delivery
just as it needs to deploy.

Definitely institutional day for ASND. 1K, 5K, 8K, 10K blocks being traded all day long. This reminds me of the quiet institutional buying spree last November. I think Mr. Soros got the big boys attention!
