Mr. Macklin, <<sorry if i misunderstood your posts jerry. They are a little confusing to me!... I still stand by my assertion that naxos does research, though. They pay people to do research for them--like brian russell. That equates to them doing research as far as i am concerned. >> Glad we're finally on the same page. It's true some of my postings can be a little cryptic but they are not meant to confuse. There are those who lurk on this thread that do understand my meanings and my cryptic comments are directed at them. The main point I want to make is that Naxos is at a disadvantage because it is not set up as a company to perform R&D and often finds itself unable to evaluate the research of consultants. It is a known fact that none of the research to date, with the possible exception of J/L, has yielded any significant results. Even Ledoux, who has been involved with Franklin Lake since at least the early 1960s, has failed dramatically and appears to have learned nothing at all during the last forty years or so. If we are going to pursue Franklin Lake it is imperative that Naxos re-structure itself to be able to do the R&D themselves in house or contract with companies strictly doing R&D. Neither Ledoux nor Mintek, should we land their services, are in the business of research. Analytical laboratories are concerned with results already developed and proven. To rely on them for research is folly in my estimation. Ledoux's recent back-off proves my case. The same goes for Brian Russell, a technician not a researcher. He may be the best in the world, but he is not engaged in basic science research as far as I have been able to determine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Jerard P
