For example, the Sudanese absolutely feel they have done nothing wrong, but the Americans are divided on the issue. Therefore, they would fight harder and with more conviction than Americans. That's one of the reasons we lost in Vietnam as well. This has nothing to do with reality, and everything to do with perception.
