The company reported a net loss of $17,000 (nil per share) for the three months
ended June 30, 1998, compared to net earnings of $391,000 (seven cents per
share) for the three months ended June 30, 1997.
In the nine months ended June 30, 1998, the company's net earnings were
$2,325,000 (42 cents per share) compared with $1,006,000 (18 cents per share)
in the prior period.
In April 1998, the company made an additional liquidating distribution of 60 cents
cash per share ($3,354,000 in total).
As previously announced, further distributions are anticipated to include two class
A shares of Intermap Technologies Ltd. plus cash as the remaining assets are
liquidated. Cash from the liquidation of the remaining assets could range from 10
cents to 20 cents per class A share of IITC Holdings Ltd.
Investors should note that IITC Holdings Ltd. has been delisted from the Toronto
Stock Exchange effective at close on July 21, 1998 because of failure to meet the
