Indeed it is the honorable thing to do, but totally incongruous with Clinton's normal behavior pattern. As to your point about Starr "stopping short " of the gory details, I must ask you, would not that involve him complicity in Clinton's campaign to maintain his "cover-up" of the true nature of the "innappropriate relationship" with Monica Lewinsky. Can you imagine any prosecutor sitting on evidence of a sexual case because the details were "gory"? Please. He has a legal responsibility to explore each lead to whatever the conclusion, be that exculpatory or damning......The point of the report is to detail any potential impeachable offenses or conclude that there are none. Any omission of relevant facts would constitute a further obstruction of justice of the highest order.
