Monty: On the threads I frequent, which aren't many, posting has really slowed down. I can imagine some of these investment boards closing down, if the market declines into a protracted bear scenario.

Maybe the "new era investors" will fall away. I guess it is a lot harder calling more than one direction! <ggg>

Regards,
LG

Monty; It just occurred to me in looking at you two time
stamps and of the A/Ds..
A dramatic change in the Unchanged issues was pronounced
More so in the nasdaq. That caused me to remember how so
many of the "low volume" issues often never trade until
noon, and a lot of them often trade the most volume right
at the close as the market makers match up or balance their
books. Russell would know more about the mechanics of that than
I, but it leads me to think that interday A/Ds are not as
a dependable a signal as I thought. Up / down volume will
likely be a better interday signal.
New highs had improved for that early in the day, if that can
tell us anything ?
