If you buy ver 2.5 the upgrade to 3.0 will cost $99. This saves $100 if you just wait til 3.0 is released ($495).

I've been using OT 3.5 for a couple of months and I think it's fabulous. I pick my stocks from all kinds of sources; many are tips from people I work with, some are from the WSJ, some come from bulletin boards. The best source of data so far (my personal opinion) has been Worden Telecharts 2000. It has a search/screen capability and finds lists of stocks which it charts very nicely also.
Step two is to research the fundamentals, and make sure you want to own the stock. That way you will have the confidence (in case you miss the cycle and the stock heads down) to hold it and know it will eventually come back up on it's next cycle.
Step three, you pick from all those sources and send the list over to OT for processing.
Anybody use the Short Term Aggressive mode? It seems to work for me quite well. I only go long and I try to buy on the first day a green buy vote comes up. I find it takes discipline to stay with it, to wait until the end of the buy signal to sell. The only problems have been of my own creation, selling when the stock takes a drop even though OT is still long. If you stay with it and don't try to outguess the program you will have very good results.
