People ~ Did I hurt my kidneys? I know this is sposed to happen if one rides a Harley to Idaho. Vibration or something. I got MJ to go up in a 1921 biplane two days ago. We tossed and turned; it was GREAT. But a few hours later, I start to hurt. Middle back; kidney region; both sides. Then HURT, that night. Ow. Couldn't sleep, no comfortable way. Still hurts. Is this the kids, or is the liver finally going? (I drink a lot.) (But will deny it to anyone except people here.) (Well, not really; why bother?)

Somebody here has to know. C'mon, macho boys. And girls.

Yes, it came across that way and I'm sorry. My wording was off. That happens when you live around those damned squares all your life. At least it's hard to get lost.

A lot of those 50s have very long barrels to burn all that powder and that helps the keep the muzzle down. Imagine if the gun jumped up as well as back. Broken cheek bones and Weatherby eye.

You ever read the tests on the Holland and Holland 700 Nitro Express? Awesome!! Carmichael tested one for Outdoor Life and it knocked his glasses off and as the muzzle jumped the stock slid down into and through his armpit. Left him at port arms for only $100 per round.

Yeah, the 7mm isn't all that heavy, a sporter with a tapered barrel and synthetic stock. The recoil is there and gone while I'm still pulling the trigger. The 10 is an auto and fairly weighty so it's a shove. However at times I've talked guys who were under 150 pounds into popping off a 2 1/4 ounce load. It moves them back a step or two.
