Valueman, thanks for your take on the numbers and performance unit by unit. One thing to keep in mind on the Orion story, is that, under the previous ownership structure and crushing debt burden, Orion management made several deals with the devil, committing big chunks of prime transponder space to the carrier market at low margins in order to book revenues and demonstrate the efficacy of its business plan (while being only moderately successful in executing the VSAT private networks business plan in Europe). Thus, they find themselves competing with carriers who bought capacity on the cheap. Not an ideal situation, but one that will work itself out over time, especially as they have more certainty about ownership, etc.
Cheers,
Thomas

Valueman:

Hey this horse may be dead but just one more kick...

Pardon me but isnt the job of the analyst to be on top of the companies activities? Should they not have current estimates on the company and its prospects? Hey, if they buy someone tomorrow well then you just have to sit down and get current again with a new estimate.

Restate my original point: in this electronic media, no one should take anything from anyone as gospel.

I prefer to keep my eyes open. I take my information from many different sources. Thanks to you and Readware for supplying information.
