Mr GJ -- Thanks for not flaming me as I expected. It means that a rational discussion can follow. I don't care to subscribe, thank you. BB deserves compliments for his newsletter, and he also deserves compliments for his radio program, and I don't mind a bit if he wants to keep the recommendations in both separate. If he only wants the subscribers to know his thoughts, then he shouldn't do the radio program. If the radio program is a six-hour-per-week infomercial for his newsletter, then he should pay for the air time. On the other hand, if the radio program is what it claims to be, a "tutorial" for people who want to handle their own finances and investments, then BB should take the job seriously, and show at least a modicum of concern and empathy for his listeners. Let me make an analogy that seems to fit some of the comments made on this thread: Everyone can go to church for free, but only those who buy the Brinker Bible get to go to heaven. I don't think I subscribe to that way of thinking. Your turn, over.
