The WSJ pointed out that the poor and middle class have really shouldered the entire increased tax burden. This is because, if you raise the rates on high income earners, they just pass the increased expenses to their customers in the form of higher fees. They have skills or provide services that consumers badly want or need which is why they are high income earners in the first place.

The poor and middle class obviously don't have this option. The Dems and the Modocrat Repubs all know this of cource.
