James, at times like this I like to go back to Joe Murphy's old
posts. Two posts I especially like are:

Dear timbo:
When we leave we all leave together. In my lifetime,I was in oil&gas and we hit the largest single producing well in Marion county,
called seiter(can't remember the spelling} 1A(all my fellow Ohioans
that is your homework to look up and report to the board on the
number of barrels produced),and we all left together. In the mid to
late '80's we hit the mother lode in real estate and we all left
together. I aim to do the same with you(my shareholders) only the flippers get left behind. As the motto says "Always Faithful"

Dear Bruce:
You are correct. Our publicly stated goal is to build a profitable
company and sell it in whole or in part.In the Telecom industry today
buyers have been applying multiples to the sellers revenues.
They go anywhere between 2 to 6+ times revenues. A perfect example is what we sold the London contract for - five(5) times annualized
revenues.
Since we formed the JV in Canada we have had expressions of
interest from four different companies using the standard multiples.
If you look at a) that situation, b)our present book value(at Cost), c) the unrealized appreciation from the SMTK stock, d)our present revenue base(excluding the JV)and the WorldPass revenues times the standard multiplier divided by our shares outstanding you will readily see that the current market price is pure fiction and does
not reflect the true worth of this company. When we do sell
I will not announce a letter of intent but rather announce that a
definitive agreement has been signed and that shareholders(long
term supporters) of a "date gone by" will reap the benefits and not the short termers who are interested in making peanuts. The transaction will have been done and those who are in will be the winners.
Best Joe

James, I agree with your disagreement.<g> Not only is there no obvious bad news looming, but we may be on the verge of receiving some of our best news to date. This recent pounding is something that we have been through before and doesn't bother me like it used to. To borrow a phrase from Ken S................

<<I have discovered a personal well of patience relative to this stock that I never knew existed prior to now.>>

I look at it as another day being done and ripped off the calendar. Which of course puts us one day closer to the goal line.
