Hello Sonny,

I fully agree with you on Russia. The storm is blown over indeed! Furthermore, Chenomyerdin is a generally well respected figuere and
his re-election and his new cabinet has brought more confidence to the
financial world! He represnts coninuity (and not cure!) and the market
likes that!

Having said that, Russian has always been a sick country, financially!
That is before the Revolution of 1917, during the communist era, and after the fall of communisim. So, the present crisis is just a foot note in the history!

Kind regards,

Yaacov

Good Evening Sonny,

It looks like people are getting out of the area of the outer banks of North Carolina. You and I might feel a little of Bonnie over the next couple of days.

I do not think that Russia really has any effect on our economy and like you I think it is given much weight and concern. It is a little frustrating to me to see the market perform well in the morning and then slump in the later part of the session. I would like to see this pattern stop. BTW I heard tonight that the Canadian Dollar sunk to a new low against the US Dollar. This may be a great opportunity for vacationing in that area.

What do we need to do to get Tom Kurlac off of Intel's back?? Intel was moving quite nicely until Merrill let him out of his cage???

Do you have any Dell Computer stock??

Hope everything is well with you

Best Regards
Frank
