Consider, the stock sells off on low volume for a couple of sessions.

Hubert,

I'm with you, but it is worth mentioning that PAIR was down 10% today on double the average volume.

every so often you hear CNBC speak of capititulation.

This is when a huge selloff occurs on heavy volume. It often signals the bottoming of the stock. Shaking out all the weak hands.

The last hour of trading today consisted of more buyers at the ask than sellers

I have not traded this since the 17's ... it has just been too weak.

Took a position entry today at 11 and 11 7/16 for the short term ... next month or so.

good luck all

4.1 Million shares traded today. 338% increase in volume.
Low volume -- NOT.

Stocks going down tend to... go down.
Stocks going up tend to... go up.
I'll let you guess which way this one is going.
Until the trend is reversed, I would not try to catch this falling knife.
One note of hope for those long this thing: it is possible this was the blow out wash out day. Possible most of the towels were thrown in. Possible.
Technically, if the stock gaps down and turns up, or just opens down and turns up, I'd say buy above Tuesday's low.
If, however, it gaps up, do not buy, because you will be playing into the market makers' hands. Like taking candy from a baby.
A sucker punch.
Wait for a confirmation on the uptrend. I would definitely not be going long this stock without a hedge now.
Friendly advice folks. I am not short PairGain.
