Well I say he is on the lam and changed his name from Bernie Cornfeld.

His picture was in Wired Magazine.

I tried to engage him in a discussion on the problems with space mining as in ball mills won't work and pumping which relies on vacuum won't work and crushers need to be centrifugal and the maintenance on mills is very high cost and you have to mine all your materials and make oxygen and hundreds of compounds and oil etc.. AND that you had a problem where greases froze and boiled as you came into the sun and went out.. heat loss in bearings is very hard to handle..they overheat like crazy as there is no convection even at 300 below ... people need underground protection from cosmic rays that can penetrate 200 feet of rock and the biggest problem of all.. dust from grinding is practically impossible to get rid of... so the plant has to have an atmosphere..ore has to come through an airlock and grinding systems have to be AIRTIGHT to avoid dust.

There are over 200 hard to solve critical problems that these guys have not even begun to examine and when I wrote him about these he did not even reply.

I should know as my people lived in space for 10,000 years and had to solve those problems. The solution: Find a planet with an atmosphere or gravity and generate an atmosphere.. (You can do it by burning hydrogen)

Who were we? Well we did not look like this. For one thing we had 6 fingers and toes on each limb and moveable cup like ears. We did gene splicing on our embryos to get the resemblance to the species we found here who were more adapted to the gravity. After 10,000 years in space in artificial gravity our hearts and lungs were not efficient on the new planet. We had been genetically altered by cosmic ray collisions and had lost pigment in our skins and our hair was brilliant red. We killed most of the competitive species and went to primitive existence in order to adapt and survive. It was a Rubicon decision for us. If we had kept our technology we would have not survived where we were not strong enough to make it on adaptation alone. So the species would have weakened. There was a great die off as disease got many of us and
the survivors blended in with the local tribes. The knowledge of our origin and covenant with our mission has been passed down sufficient to ensure progress of the race as it is needed. Life after all is the highest form of human progress and cannot be improved upon by technology.

Jerry Lewis is one of ours. Great man.
