Joseph, what a rarity, I agree with you:

You've got it wrong. until the big caps tank is the correct sequence. Just check
any bear market - small caps, as a group, go down first and go down most.
, I would just add, and the weaker stock near the top experience even greater weakness when the bottom drops.

It would suffice to look at the Russel 2000 to see where the market is headed, IMHO.

Yeah, what you said. Don't forget the corollary, they recover the most once the uptrend resumes.
