According to the Bloomberg report, an analyst that follows the company said the drop was caused by lingering concerns based on last week's announcement that past earnings would have to be restated.

He also dropped his estimate for this quarter to -.04, in line with what Investor Lady posted here last week.

I can't believe that all of this selling was due to last week's announcement. The release clearly says that past earnings, etc. will not have to be restated. I'd say it has more to do with a big shortfall in what is supposed to be a good quarter for the company. The company should explain why this will be to allay market concerns, or at least get the bad news out.

Vestor:

Good analysis...

The restatement won't be earnings, just how acquisitions are accounted for... The positive side to this is that associated acquisition costs and share dilution will also be backed out... That should be a plus...

The 10 1/2 area looks like good buy entry territory... That's the low on a pretty bad market day...

With or without Soros ABTX is in an all season business... With or without a buyout ABTX will do well in the long term... In the meantime, taking advantage of the price dips based on investor uncertainty gets you a good low average price for holding or trading...
