Chris, See my note above on MU. Yes, the longs have done as badly or worse than the puts, which is why I am only 10% long and 40% 90/10. I always like to have something long, and that is about as low as I go. So far, 10% looks like way too much. <G> Ex Impala and Stillwater, it is a pretty sad sack list of longs. I am claiming Malaysia, Singapore and The Philippines on my tax forms as parasite dependents this year. <G>

Right now, I like puts on Linear, Maxim and Xylinx, as they have fallen, but are still pretty pricey. Compaq and Gateway are very overpriced, but I wouldn't buy more than a third right now. I would like to see Merrill back over $90 again before adding another third. I have taken 2/3s out of that one. Starwood Lodging has more to go on the downside, maybe 50%, but its huge Street sponsorship is keeping it afloat here for awhile. I expect it to rise to $45 before heading to the 20s.

As always, I like to buy my puts on manic up days, not on down days.
