Have to agree wholeheartedly. I spent a lot of time in the director's rooms at Hollywood Park and Santa Anita racetracks, where many big names in the business were directors, i.e Aaron Spelling, Cary Grant, etc. Having seen most of them interact, believe me, much in this business is who you know. And Shapiro certainly is one who knows the insiders and has been around the track many times in the role of producer. As I said before, what a coup!
