RE: "Or is it that Wall Street is so blind when its in love that its completely enamoured with Cisco propaganda ? Unlike company marketing personnel products dont lie and the truth will emerge. A year ago Intel was the undisputed king of processors looking to continue his reign for years to come. But today not even the countless poundings to buy INTC from known analysts of Morgan Stanley, Gruntal and Piper Jaffray can remove doubts and move the stock near its old highs."
+++++++++
Not blind at all, I know, I have been in Intel for that year. All Intel, Ascend, and anyone else has to do is deliver earnings and lets face the facts, Intel hasn't done it yet. If Intel does deliver(as they said yesterday, "things have picked up"), they will rise, Kurlak will be made a fool of, and most will be happy. I know I will. I hear ASND is having a good quarter too.

Fore to buy Berkeley

Fore Systems (FORE:Nasdaq) agreed to buy privately held Berkeley Networks for 8,475,000 shares and options, valued at about $250 million. Fore expects to record a second-quarter merger-related charge between $1.80 and $2.20 per share. The company also will establish a restructure reserve of about 5 cents per share to cover certain costs related to the acquisition.
