Jim, perhaps you should consider admitting that you misunderstood Zax's mention of the "selling points" e-mail and apologize for calling him a liar. You mistakenly assumed, as did others here, that he meant they were telling brokers to get clients out of AMZN when a "selling points" memo indicates the exact opposite. In fact, if a broker is trying to move a large block on behalf of a big client, it is not unusual for them to push it on their own retail clients. Sometimes they will even offer it as a "special" where the retail brokers sell it "net", i.e. with no commission to the client, but with a larger than normal credit to the broker for selling it. A selling points memo, or these days perhaps an e-mail, simply reminds the brokers of pertinent facts as well as the current analyst opinion and estimates, giving them a handy sales tool. The "special" would give them and their retail clients the motivation to act now.

You didn't take the time to understand Zax's post and jumped to conclusions. You owe him an apology.
