JHR, it took me about 3 months to muster the guts to start thinking opposite to the direction I was normally used to thinking. I didn't have a winning trade or position since March or so until I started buying puts and shorting selected issues. It appears I was so good at picking losers, that I might as well make money on the talent <G>.

On the short side, anyone looked at EK? Another friendly poster suggested this privately to me. Fundamentally I don't like 'em because their film can't touch the quality of Fiji. Every professional photographer knows that. The stock is still in an uptrend. Looks to me that it has to break $80 to get into trouble. Thoughts?

DELL. Tempted to short, but the post split hype, good number thus far may cause trouble. LT, do you still have a postion here?

KRB. Thean I joined you today after it broke the $30 mark with some conviction. It appears to me as if it will just slowing bleed downwards from here. Thanks for the advice on my CXIPY puts.
Speaking of which, I seem to be a major topic of conversation at SD world. I know I should just ignore it, but I had to respond. In case anyone gives a sh##:

Welcome JHR,

Its my first foray into the short side of things. Tough to make the switch.

Don't worry, you will get used to it.

Just rent yourself a copy of "Natural Born Killers", pick up a bottle of Stolicnaya, and a pack of cigarettes and start reading the SEC's. Watch 'em close. I've found that a good real time service with technical charting can give you a real feel of present sentiment for your stocks of interest.

glad to have you onboard the NKE and CCI gravy train. (G)

Interesting that another has my views on the Japanese (although I think they have and will be choice sales... not forced sales)? Maybe I ain't nuts afterall (G)
