Ummm... excuse me. I just cut and pasted an FDA report, complete with a link if you want to check it out for yourself. Notice this line: PROBLEM : Unsafe food additive That's not my opinion, that's what the FDA wrote. I've certainly read the claims that major corporations lobbied for the ban because they wanted to preserve their investment in the ones they use now, but far be it from me to pass judgment on that. You asked if the FDA banned it and I responded. Draw you own conclusion. - Jeff
