The posts under this subject has some of the most terrific and excellent posters I have seen. You all have great posts whether it be agreeing or disagreeing. This site is well done by you all. I have been in and out of JMAR since '94 and at present just sitting on the sidelines. My personal opinion for what it's worth is that JMAR is a terrific R&D company but lacking in every day business sense. I have found that JMAR rides the skirts of a few large tech companies and definitely not much on acquisitions. It all goes back to '91 when they continued on a downward spiral from above$12/share to below $.50 a share. This was again from selling off subsidiaries and reorganizing. The tech boom hit, and the R&D plus the PPL Division jumped on the tailgate and rode along for the ride. Then JMAR bought CATS. Shortly afterward, JMAR got a company that never performed or had all the equipment and production as promised to the investors. Please don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to put down JMAR, but until the world economies turn around, the select few major companies they deal with surge, or they nail this XRL to the wall, this company will be a stagnate and welfare company of the Defense Department. Thats not to say it won't make smart investors money on a long term hold, or sharp short term trading some pocket money. It is a great little company, but in my opinion it needs a CEO that is more into business and let Mr. Martinez continue with the terrific job he does with the government and R&D. I have to say I'm not a big Martinez promoter. If you were to compare his meetings, teleconferences, and PR in general, you'd find they all promise something by mid next year. This has been the trend since I first started investing with JMAR back in late '94. This is cynical on my part, but true. I've made good money with JMAR and think the direction and government backing is great. When the lithography is a done deal, and the production starts with the next trend of smaller and faster chips happen this company in my opinion will become a self producing company and not relying on a few large companies or the welfare of the Defense Department(DARPA). The institutions will follow and faith will stimulate the individual investors. Could it be back to the highs of the early '90's??? Can't say for sure, but if what I have stated happens, I will be on board for the ride!! I hope I have not offended or seemed to cynical to anyone. This is what I have observed and found to be true to me. The past can be a great predictor of the future. This is the first time I've posted on this thread but have followed and enjoyed all your posts. I have given a general synopsis and hope given some reason for some to continue research on this powerful to be company. Good Investing......Norm
