1. Impending Layoffs were mentioned in the last earnings conference call. Morgan wouldn't precisely identify how many because they hadn't finished their internal analysis and communications. (especially to those being fired)

2. Just because it was known to the analyst community doesn't mean there won't be a selloff this week. Some ASYT conference call comments were picked up from the 10Q a couple months later, published as new news by DJI and Marketwatch; helping ASYT drop about 20%. AMAT is not ASYT even if the first and last letters of the ticker are the same. ;-)

Most likely scenario is a bottom above 26 and below 29.50 in next few days, thereby completing the D wave of the triangle. Then up to low 30's for final E wave up---to be then followed by a move below 25.50, likely stopping at about 23.50ish . Then real upturn begins from wherever the last drop turns around.
