Gregpry:

We all are vessels. Whether used for evil or for good. It is not that I am saying you are not a good person, but your goodness will not get you into heaven. One sin can keep you out unless you are washed under the blood of Christ. God is a holy God and his requirement is perfection; in Christ we get what is required.

As vessels we are no more worthy than the donkey that Christ rode into Jerusalem upon. God forbid that the donkey think it is the subject of the praises and shouts of glory and honor.

I blow the minds of many Christians because do not quite follow the schooling of thought that constantly reminds oneself of the iniquity of the inherent soul of mankind. Rather I still like to remind myself of the pristine state that we were all created in. There is still that goodness in us. The problem is the pollution and corruptness that has entered in; in some it is more evident than others.

The angel in the garden protected us from the Tree of Life because God in His love wished us not to live eternally in sin. We (mankind) still eat of the Tree of Knowledge ( the counterfeit tree ). Christ is now Our Tree of Knowledge, as God intended from the beginning. What Adam took away, Christ has restored !! Shout Glory !! Praise the Lord !! I'm going to have church.

In Christ we are new creations , new creaturers. Am I saying we will sin no more. NOT. But my God doesn't keep bringing up my past either; the devil does, gee wonder why ! When I do mess up God is faithful and just to forgive me in Christ. I just plead the blood. Does this give me a license to sin ? God forbid. Because of His goodness I am striving toward my high calling in Christ.

Is it easier for an ignorant or an intellectual person to commit an evil act ? I will carry your question one step further. It is only in Christ that anything I do whether in ignorance or in knowledge is acceptable to God. How can any man do that which is perfect and pure and holy in an imperfect world , in a corruptable body. Only in Christ are we made whole and complete. Did not or would not Christ ask the blind man or the lame man "will thou be made whole". Not , would thou walk or would thou see ?

In Christ.gregor
