Robert, I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you I have been away since Wednesday. I am not familiar with that type of strategy and can not see any advantage in it ( maybe I'm missing it). Writing puts is a tricky thing. Theoretically with the concept of put-call parity, writing cash secured puts and cash account covered writing are identical strategies. I noticed you mention you can only buy no selling allowed, if you could also sell you would have a lot more strategies at your disposal, you could try talking to your broker and ask them why you can not sell.
