i don't know why anyone wouldn't want .6 shares of lu for every asnd share. lu stock will grow like weeds, longer and stronger then asnd could ever dream about. Back in January if Mory thought LU stock was going to be 110 in October, he would have taken the LU offer for $35 cash per share of ASND. That way, he could get $35/40 = .875 shares of LU for every share of ASND. Do your math Tim. It doesn't add up! If Mory refused cash for ASND shares, then .6 shares LU/ASND is a far worse deal! Add that to the fact that at $25, ASND shares are very undervalued. I think Mory knew that, but the market didn't. That's why he didn't sell. At $40 LU's PE is in the 50-60 range, how can he expect LU's price to go to 110? I think it's far more realistic to expect ASND to reach its old trading range in the 40-50's than for LU market cap to almost triple. bucky89

Well, if I had some LU shares, I'd strongly consider selling them to you right now. In fact, if LU goes back up to 110, I'd sell them short to you. LU doesn't even know how to spell IP. I like that quote by Paul Johnson. I think it's absolutely true. Unless they pick up ASND, they are about to get really whacked by Cisco. I mean a real mean spanking. bucky89
