Stop Losses Don't Work With ABTX or many other stocks and caused part of yesterday's problems, increasing margin-related selling. The MMs have come to "collect" them before (and will in the future, no doubt) and they add unnecessary volatility to the equity. Ironically, Motley Fool did a piece yesterday on studies done about stop losses: motleyfool.com Some people have blamed management for removing analyst reports from their website, but they were asked to do so by the SEC during the recent review, as stated in this morning's press release. The SEC did that, presumably, to protect individual investors. Like I said, the morning is full of ironies. Good luck everybody. Who knew the seed business was going to be so volatile?
