Exactly Kevin so have I - so what's the beef on the part of NSCP re: MSFT ruining their market. They all make the money elsewhere not on the clients. NSCP on the server side. MSFT on the OS and Server side. I don't know what all the fuss is about other than as gates says the cos. have failed to beat them in the marketplace are trying to do it the good old communist way, beat them politically.

I've been downloading Mac Netscape free of charge since version 1.1 (before there even was an IE). Did I miss something?

Yes. Unless you were a student or faculty member you were supposed to evaluted the Netscape shareware and send payment if you continued to use it.

IE has always been freeware, not shareware.
