H. Wai:

I no longer know what is going on with IFMX (and for that matter with anything else at this time in this horrible market)! I sold all my IFMX shares about a month ago and took a loss for tax write off purposes. I am very much confident in their CEO Bob F., and their top management team, not to mention their technology which is a head of itself. However Oracle is killing them as they are taking the market share away from them in the already stagnating database market. The stock is back in the $4's near its 52 week low (but then show me a high tech stock that is not)! My ex-colleagues at Informix continue to be very optimistic about the company's future and if it is of any significant to you, the R&D moral is very high (as oppose to when I was there). Usually this is a very good sign that things will turn up ok (after all the only real asset a software company - or for that matter any high tech company - has is its people. IFMX's marketing (again from what I have heard from my ex colleague) has started to show a turn around.

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi
