Stock held in account is in "Street name" - the brokerage is listed as holding x amount of shares at the TA.

Calling for certs is your privilege and a "demand order " to do so must be honored. (Besides, the brokers work for you and it's your money).

Send an official notice to broker to do so. A fax will do to start since your signature is on file. Follow-up with the hardcopy by mail.

Called and was told I'm not a registered stockholder, understand that I'm talking about a company I've owned 6-8 mon.. E*TRADE specificaly told me that I was last week. I guess you can't trust anyone.
