Paul, I really can't guess what the volume will be, since I tend to buy and hold: with occasional raids into the options store when they have a sale on. Bottom line: since I don't use volume in my trading decisions at all, I don't watch it, and can't hazard an opinion. However, here is a 3-year chart showing volume. You can adjust it yourself to see more detailed data. askresearch.com By visual examination, I would say that volume has actually dropped since the last split. No doubt due to those insane DELLheads like that guy on SI, Kemble Whatsisname, who just continue to accumulate. <vbg> Actually, I think that is a reason, combined with the continued share buy back. Joe 'BULL' [Battapaglia]- Did you know Joe is back now as a raging bull? Say Paul-san: You know now Joe Battapaglia of Purudential is back and is predicting the stock market is poised to surge and make new highs,none of that bearish stuff which he was touting a month ago which took the markets down a few hundred points. He thinks most of the correction is over with since majority of the Nasdaq stocks are off 25-35% and many big board stocks down more than 10% already,he sees good times ahead. His picks: Technology,drugs,financials, companies like Boeing etc. I will see if I can get a copy of his comments if I do I'll let you guys know.
