Japan still doesn't get it.

I am almost convinced they will need to see the Yen at 160 before they understand that structural reforms are their only way out.

If I were Soros I would be sizing up the prey and ready to launch an attack a la his attack on the Pound in 1992.

The downside for TBR is that a run to 160 for the Yen could catalyze a Chinese devaluation. I think China's resolve would be battered and they would feel irresistable pressure and justification to deavlue at that point. If the Chinese devalue, it would make the Russian devaluation pale in comparison. I could see TBR in the 60's at that point.

Comments? Jeremy and others?

Its OK to come out now, the shooting has stopped. At least it has for a few hours.

Is everyone shellshocked?
