Hi Kelvin, In the "universe" of graphic designers, just about all of the software fall into three general areas (exclusive of 3rd party add-ons, plug-ins, etc.): 1. Page Layout 2. Drawing 3. Image Editing Each application has a specific area of use. With few exceptions (Corel - ugly), Adobe covers all three with very capable software and, I might add, an great deal of cross-platform commonality. I liken this to the "dog". Quark's area of expertise is basically restricted to one area: Page Layout. I liken this to the "tail" Murrey
