I post a variety of items I feel are worth an airing, without necessarily agreeing with the conclusions they draw.

I know. Same here. I still think you may find the data (broken down by period) to be interesting.

Something else I found interesting in the book was what was omitted. Dreman devotes considerable space to giving data on P/E, P/CF, P/B, and P/D strategies, but I did not see a single mention of P/S strategies. Granted that the vast majority of the data was from his own group's research, and maybe they didn't check P/S, but I'm sure he is aware of the strategy. In a similar vein, he devoted one whole sentence to the Dow Dividend strategies; I would have thought that those would have merited a paragraph, tying in to his other themes in some way, or telling his perception on their value to the individual investor.
